The British South India Council of Commerce, organises a number of business Summits so as to help companies in the UK to understand the market in South India and to do business in that region, and for companies in South India to understand the UK and to do business there.

Announcement of The Living Bridge Programme

Anthony Martin, programme Director for The Living Bridge, announcing the initiative at Portcullis House, UK Parliament.  

The Living Bridge is a 36-month initiative set to launch in late 2020. The Bridge will provide practical assistance to 10,000+ companies over the course of three years, helping them form business partnerships in the UK-India trade corridor for the purposes of stimulating bi-lateral trade and investment between the UK and India. Participation is by invitation only.

UK Tamil Nadu Puducherry Business Meet

​'UK Tamil Nadu Puducherry Business Meet' , the 17th business meet of business meet series, was held at Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London on 13th July 2017 so as to promote business activity and partnerships between UK companies and Indian companies, particular among those who have business activity in Tamil Nadu.The business meet attracted about 170 delegates including representatives from Tamil Nadu, Members of House of Commons, representatives from UK companies, Indian companies and other individuals/ organisations from across the world who are interested to pursue business in Tamil Nadu/ India/ UK and businessmen from India who are successful in UK. About 13 experts from UK and Tamil Nadu shared their experience with the delegates from a wide range of sectors and this helped to achieve the summit's aim of establishing an understanding of major business challenges and opportunities in UK and Tamil Nadu/ India and promoting exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences among current and future business and political leaders from UK and India/ Tamil Nadu.

UK Karnataka Business Meet at UK Parliament, London

The release of UK Karnataka Business Chamber brochure, with Virendra Sharma, Rishi Sunak, Pallavi Sundareshan, Philip Abraham and Sujit S Nair, at UK Parliament.

'UK India Karnataka Business Meet 2016' , the 16th business meet of BSICC business meet series, was held at Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London on 24th November 2016 so as to promote business activity and partnerships between UK companies and Indian companies, particular among those who have business activity in Karnataka.The business meet attracted about 100 delegates including representatives from Karnataka, Members of House of Commons, representatives from UK companies, Indian companies and other individuals/ organisations from across the world who are interested to pursue business in Karnataka/ India/ UK and businessmen from India who are successful in UK. About 18 experts from UK and Karnataka shared their experience with the delegates from a wide range of sectors and this helped to achieve the summit's aim of establishing an understanding of major business challenges and opportunities in UK and Karnataka/ India and promoting exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences among current and future business and political leaders from UK and India/ Karnataka.​
