The British South India Council of Commerce (BSICC) is a platform for the India and UK business community to enhance their business activity as well as support businesses which are exploring opportunities in South India and UK.


It provides an excellent platform for networking, leveraging business contacts and opportunities. Utlising the services of BSICC and its delivery partners enables access to business contacts in India and the UK and will be an advantage to those businesses which are looking to expand into these areas.

The board ensures that BSICC fulfills its mission and that BSICC focuses on its major objectives.

  • Organise premier business meets so as to showcase the opportunities in both South Indian and UK markets.

  • Work with the British Government and UK businesses to facilitate business and investments  from South India to the UK.

  • Work with State Government and business in South India to facilitate Business and investments from U.K to South India.

  • Liaise with UK companies to get their projects implemented and nurtured in South India. 

  • Promote business, culture and cuisine between the UK and India.

  • Attend major problems faced by the immigrants from India who want to set up new businesses in the UK.

  • Set up a Indo-UK  Film industry Investment promotion society to explore the prospect of  supporting film productions in India and the UK.

  • Support and encourage South India related business organisations in the UK.

  • Providing assistance and directions to business start-ups from the South Indian community in the UK.

  • Form a UK-South India Parliamentary Working Group.

  • Liaise with the India High Commission in London and British Deputy Commissions in South India so as to deepen commercial ties between South Indian states and UK.

  • Lobby with the South India Governments to cut red-tape to help British & NRI businesses in the South Indian states.

  • Act as a pressure group to secure personal & legal protection for British Business people in South India.
